The timing was powerful: Alketa was calling for Kosovars to vote to end poverty just as politicians were finishing a final week of campaigning prior to local elections.

 

Vote to End Poverty - Alketa’s powerful art installation was mounted on the walls of the Termokiss building, (an Alternative Community Centre for Youth), sending a powerful message.

 

 “It is not so much about charity as it is about justice”, said Alketa.
